  3. Click on 'Settings' in the top navigation bar

  5. Update the 'Owner Email' field to an email that you have access to

  6. Click 'Save' to save your settings

Redirecting your RSS Feed from Acast to Podpal

Switching your host from Acast to Podpal is easy and only takes a few minutes! After you've imported your podcast, follow these few steps to set up a 301 redirect from your Acast account to make your move official:

  1. Open your email account provider on the web (Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, etc.)

  2. Compose a new email

  3. For the subject enter: "301 Redirect Request | Moving to Podpal"

  4. Add the following email address to the "To:" line: info@acast.com

  5. Add the following email address to the "Cc:" line: support@podpal.com

  6. Send the following message:

    Dear Acast,

Thank you for hosting my podcast feed but I have decided to move my podcast hosting and management to Podpal. My new feed URL is: [past your Podpal RSS feed here].

    Thanks,
    Your Name

  7. Click 'Send' to send this message to the Acast support team.

  8. They will redirect your feed to Podpal and let you know when it is complete.

Acast recommends giving it about a week for this to fully take effect across all platforms you're distributed to. You can delete your Acast account, but we'd strongly recommend not doing so until after that week period has taken place, to make sure you retain your listeners through the switching process.
